  • Octocloud by Superuber The installation-game “OctoCloud” participated in the art and technology festival “The Creators Project” in San Francisco, California. The sculpture travelled from Barcelona, where it was one of the highlights of the Mobile World Congress, to become part of the festival that took over the historical borough of Fort Mason, in San Francisco.

The sculpture’s shape is mapped with projection. The visitor interacts using a smartphone or tablet, where he can drag a virtual “sling” to dribble obstacles and reach the center, triggering a visual performance on the sculpture. Up to 6 players can collaborate to reach the common goal. The angles of the physical sculpture influence the physics of the virtual projected layer. Each player’s shot goes up and down, accelerates and slows down according to the sculpture’s design. After a number of shots reach the center, a new texture is revealed through an animated performance that takes over the sculpture and the devices being used as interfaces.

My main role was to create the user interface for the mobiles, game design and some animations for the performance moment.

  • Coral Vivo by Superuber Interactive screens, synchronized projections and corals on display are part of the interactive andarchitectural design project created by SuperUber for the Buzios’ Coral Reef Park Visitor Center, located in one of the most popular spots in the city: Rua das Pedras. The exhibition’s visual concept creates an immersive environment with shapes inspired by coral patterns, which together form a mosaic of images, made of videos, animations, corals and information, with themes such as preservation, oceanography and environmental education. My main role in this project was to design the user interface for most part of the interactive screens.     2012 Interaction Design
  • Projection for Light Institute building by Superuber SuperUber created multimedia projections that will light up, color and distort the Light Institute facade, a historical building in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The visual concept is connectivity. 2D and 3D animations create a visual energy flow through the architecture of the building, connecting the architectural elements and distorting its volume. My main role in this project was to concept and create some of the animations.     2012 Motion Graphics
